Google has officially launched Street View imagery of all SA National Parks, nature reserves, UNESCO World Heritage Sites and a host of new trails.
South Africa has some of the most breathtaking and spectacular trails in the world! SA also has stunning views and incredible wildlife. It is no surprise it is a hot tourist destination. Something cool has been done that will probably encourage even more people to visit the beautiful country…
Drive South Africa partnered up with Google and spent 12 months capturing the ‘Street View’ imagery of South African National Parks, UNESCO World Heritage Sites and trails. This will be uploaded and can be explored by people all over the world.
A team of passionate South Africans in partnership with Google Maps have trekked the length and breadth of South Africa to map 170 new trails, six UNESCO World Heritage Sites and all 19 National Parks, in a large 360-imagery collect of the country’s wildest regions.
