Daniel Radcliffe is stepping into his parent era after the news broke that he and his partner are expecting their first wizard (child). Harry Potter fans wasted no time in celebrating the news, and their reactions are priceless.

Global (27 March, 2024)— Cue the butter beer celebrations! Actor Daniel Radcliffe is taking on a new role for the first time, and no, it doesn’t involve another instalment of Harry Potter. Instead, news broke that Daniel Radcliffe will be a dad. Naturally, Harry Potter fans everywhere couldn’t help but add a little magic (and humour) in response.

Radcliffe and his longtime partner, Erin Darke are expecting their first child at the end of the year. Their spokesperson shared:

“Daniel and Erin could not be happier to be expecting.”

In anticipation, Potter fans have already taken to sharing everything from potential baby names to the collective reality check that we all feel a lot older. Harry Potter was, of course, a huge part of many childhoods. And, many of us will be on a deep investigation to figure out what spell was used to speed up the time so rapidly.

As we all know, Harry Potter fans are a fun force to be reckoned with. A few years back, one couple even went as far as to have a Harry Potter-inspired wedding.

The internet has spoken on the baby Radcliffe news, and the reactions are priceless.
