Lego House

The Bo Kaap and Table Mountain are two of the fan-made Lego designs hoping to become a reality, and this is how we can make a South African dream come true.

Global – Lego fans are welcomed to design their own builds and submit them to the company. The company set up a system so that only the most wanted designs are flagged. They implemented a voting system and encouraged the public to make their selections.

One proudly South African Lego fan shared his Bo Kaap build with us in the hopes of getting enough votes to make it through to the next level. While looking at it, we spotted a Table Mountain build as well.

When a fan submits their creation, they have 60 days to get just over 100 votes. From there, they need to gather 10000 votes, and then an expert will take on their build for assessment and possible creation.

Currently, there are two Proudly South African builds waiting to make their mark. The Table Mountain build has only nine days left, and the Bo Kaap build has fifty-nine days left to vote.

Imagine having a proudly South African Lego build? It would be pretty fun to create something uniquely ours. Before we can do that, we need to support our fellow South Africans, so you can support the Table Mountain build here and the Bo Kaap build here.
