Before the laughs, the stages, and the sold-out shows, Schalk Bezuidenhout had his first headshots, and they’re giving fans a glimpse into the early days of a rising comedian.

South Africa (30 October 2025) – Schalk Bezuidenhout just gave us a peek into the past, and let’s just say… the nostalgia is real.

The South African comedian recently dug through the depths of his computer and stumbled upon his very first headshots. Taken when he was just 18, Schalk shared the photos with fans, joking about that fresh-faced energy.

As expected, the comments were pure gold. Fans couldn’t help but compare young Schalk to other celebrities, with most agreeing he could pass for a young Adam Sandler. Others cheekily said it’s giving “steal-your-girl” vibes. Clearly, Schalk’s charm was evident even back then!

Looking at these headshots makes you wonder what it was like for Schalk back then. What dreams he had, what his early days in Kempton Park were like, and how he imagined his future.

From those early moments to becoming a comedian who keeps South Africans in stitches, it’s fascinating to see how it all started.
