The Logans, a South African American family, are taking SA by storm with their hilariously relatable content. This week, it’s lessons about “Just Now”, “Two Tigers” and a family trip to Wimpy.

South Africa (15 July 2025) – “I love it when you talk foreign”, The Logans tap into Wimpy of old, to bring us new Wimpy gold. The beloved family set out for a day of delicious, ready to taste the “Two Tiger” deals and share their thoughts, but as with any blended family, sitting down for a meal often turns out some pretty hilarious moments.

Addi Logan is American, so he is always learning something new. The South African American family share all the lessons they learn together online, and SA loves it. From tasting local desserts to trying to learn where the word “Shame” can be applied, it’s never a dull moment. The recent trip to Wimpy was much the same, hilarious cross-cultural commentary and a wholesome family dynamic.

Judy, Logan and their son Teejay sit down for the Wimpy “Two Tiger Deals” and lesson 1 begins. Addi asks why “Two Tiger”? Judy explains that it’s local slang for two R10 notes. Addi is pretty quick to point out there are rhinos on the notes, not tigers… It is what it is, Logan.

The family outing is a heartwarming exploration of Mzansi-isms – from “serviette vs napkin” or “chips vs fries”, to the mysterious meaning of “just now”; the table is filled with lessons for the day. But most of all, the sweet deals on offer make a day out with the family a wholesome one.

Wimpy launched its proudly South African Two Tiger Deals with families in mind. The R19.90 (or “two tiger”) unlocks a variety of delicious, feel-good menu items.

“At its heart, the Two Tiger Deals campaign is a love letter to South African charm – our sayings, the family moments, the shared meals, and the way we turn something as simple as R19.90 into an experience worth remembering, at a place where everyone’s welcome.” – Cathy Qama, Marketing Manager Wimpy

“Two Tiger Deals aren’t just about value, they’re about celebrating the way South Africans speak, share, and enjoy time together. These are small, joyful moments – just like our menu deals.”

With Addi, Judy and Teejay only ordering some of what’s available, we were curious about what one gets for “two tigers”. The menu includes: half waffle & ice cream, short filter coffee, small classic shake, small soda float and the ice cream delight.

So with school holidays here, if you are looking for something to do, you can head out for some affordable family fun at your nearest Wimpy.
