John Lewis adverts bring us all the Christmas feels every year… and we have all 14 of them in one place!
London, United Kingdom (17 December 2021) – Christmas adverts are a big thing in the United Kingdom. The annual celebration of Christmas in a short movie is highly anticipated similarly to the adverts for the Super Bowl in the United States.
Not being part of either country has never stopped us from loving the adverts too. They are heartwarming, bring a tear to the eye and sometimes make us laugh out loud.
The John Lewis & Partners Christmas advert is a television advertising campaign released by the British department store chain in the build-up to Christmas. John Lewis & Partners launched their first Christmas advert in 2007 and it has since become something of an annual tradition in the UK, and one of the signals that the countdown to Christmas has begun.
The 2021 advert is called “An Unexpected Guest” and tells the story of a boy called Nathan who becomes friends with an alien called Skye.
