A South African ‘Rugby Player’ dancing with cheerleaders is going viral!
South Africa (25 April 2022) – A South African ‘rugby player’ who performed a Beyoncé routine on the field with the cheerleaders is going viral, and we cannot get enough!
Jefferson Sacramento – a TikTok account dedicated to everything rugby in Australia and New Zealand – posted a video 2 days ago that has already garnered over 5 million views.
The social media account labelled the ‘Single Ladies’ dancer as a New Zealand rugby player but users quickly pointed out that he is in fact a South African who ‘plays’ for the Stormers.
Except he doesn’t and he’s not (a rugby player).
Turns out the talented dancer is Wiaan Laing, a hip hop dancer teacher at Stellenbosch Dance Academy who performed with the DHL Stormers dancers. And he is uber-talented. The routine was captured at a recent rugby match but this is all that was televised during the game.
