Experience the joy of dance and song while making a meaningful difference in children’s lives at the upcoming Cape Town City Ballet and South African Youth Choir fundraiser for RX Radio.
Cape Town, South Africa (20 October 2025) – Whether you’re a fan of the captivating magic of ballet or just looking to support a great cause that empowers our youth, the Cape Town City Ballet and the South African Youth Choir invite you to a special fundraising event in support of RX Radio – a pioneering radio station run by children, for children.
Taking place on 31 October at 7 pm and 01 November at 11.30 am at the Cape Town City Ballet Studios in Rondebosch, this event promises an unforgettable experience filled with breathtaking dance and beautiful music, all in support of a truly meaningful cause!
This ongoing partnership tremendously helps in the operations of the station. RX Radio, based at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital, empowers young patients by giving them a platform to share their stories, express their creativity, and engage with the world around them.
It exists to empower South African children with voice and agency so they can exercise influence within the community and on the issues facing them. More than just a radio station, it’s a space for healing, agency, and hope. By attending the fundraiser, you’ll be helping amplify the voices of children who deserve to be heard.
