The Etzebeths are now a family of four, after recently welcoming their second daughter.

South Africa (29 October 2025) – Another Springbok champ has welcomed a baby. Eben Etzebeth and his wife Anlia have celebrated the birth of their second child – a baby girl.

This marks the couple’s second run as parents, after they welcomed their first daughter in January last year. The news was shared on social media on Friday, 24 October, along with an image of two happy parents, their almost two-year-old, and the little bundle of joy.

“One week of us,” wrote Anlia.

The mom-of-two recently celebrated her baby shower in Johannesburg – a flower garden party to celebrate the little wildflower who has now arrived.

Eben and Anlia’s love story first took shape in October 2021, when they met through mutual friends in Cape Town. Less than a year after meeting, Eben popped the question, and they were married soon after, in February 2023.

The Etzebeths aren’t the only Bok family who have celebrated a newborn this month. Handre Pollard and his wife, Marise, also welcomed their first daughter last week. They are now also a family of four, along with their firstborn, Hunter.
