Robin Hood Sarmie Army Kicks Off 2025 With Peanut Butter Goodness

Spreading love and peanut butter one sandwich at a time, the Robin Hood Foundation (RHF) kicked off the year with a fantastic Sarmie Army session! Over 2,000 fresh sandwiches were lovingly prepared by volunteers for children who started school this week.

Kloof, South Africa (17 January 2025) – To start the year on a positive note, the Robin Hood Foundation (RHF) organised an epic Sarmie Army session at a local pub in Kloof. Volunteers came together to spread love—along with peanut butter—by preparing over 2,000 fresh sandwiches for children in need.

The heartwarming initiative was marked by a beautiful morning spent connecting with the team’s amazing volunteers while bringing hope, nourishment and making a meaningful difference.

Every second Wednesday, RHF gathers to distribute these lunches which go to students from four disadvantaged schools who might otherwise face their school day without a meal.

“A huge shoutout to BB Bakeries, our unwavering bread sponsors. Without their generosity, none of this would be possible. Your support truly changes lives, bringing hope and nourishment to so many deserving children,” RHF thanked.
