What is a Daytime Emmy?
It is basically the same as a regular Emmy; only this award ceremony focuses on daytime television (think Days of Our Lives) and streaming content. The Daytime Emmy Award is bestowed by the New York-based National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. This year is the 49th event.
The ceremony is set to take place on the 24th of June 2022.
