Some of South Africa’s biggest celebrities have joined the Goodness Krew to make a difference in 10 000 children’s lives. The group are using their platforms to inspire and spread goodness.
Clover Krush is on a mission to get everyone involved in spreading goodness, so they have invited local celebs to join the Krush Krew. The Goodness Krew will be visiting 12 schools across South Africa to hand out 10 000 pairs of school shoes.
The 12 schools are spread across 5 provinces and the goal is to add a little dose of goodness to make it easier for the children to get to school so they can concentrate on learning.
“It’s incredible just how fast goodness can spread, even when it begins with one small action from just one person. The fact that we have some of South Africa’s most loved personalities supporting this campaign means that we can spread a whole more goodness a lot further, together,” – Nonhlanhla Hlatshwayo, Senior Brand Manager for Krush
The Goodness Krew will be sharing their experiences at each school and plan to inspire all those following the campaign. By adding a little bit of goodness to every day, it has the power to change the world for the better.
Meet the amazing Goodness Krew below. They were asked what goodness means to them and we loved their answers!
Brent Lindeque, The Good Things Guy
“Goodness means making a positive impact on the people around me, leaving people feeling better than when I found them. Every day I get to share good news stories with South Africans and the world, contributing to their sentiment towards our beautiful country… giving them a reason to be proudly South African and inspiring them to share a little goodness with their friends and family too.”
Bonnie Mbuli
“Goodness for me means making positive choices in every area of your life every day, treating yourself and others in a manner that you can be proud of; and being dedicated to your well being.”
Lalla Hirayama
“Integrity, a genuine interest, all that relates to our purest form of self. A derivative of love.”
Pearl Modiadie
“Goodness is selflessness. It is the ability to put the needs of others before mine and doing that wholeheartedly. It is about acknowledging the next person as someone worthy of being treated with integrity”
ProVerb
“I believe we are blessed to be a blessing and it’s, therefore, a duty and a responsibility to in turn bless others and spread goodness, especially to those who need it most.”
Rami Chuene
“I believe that doing good is good business. When you do good for others you plant an incorruptible seed that’s guaranteed to change lives for the better. Doing good is say to people they matter and life is beautiful with them in it. You may do tangible and intangible things for people but the impact goes beyond measure…”
Thembisa Mdoda
“Goodness means being and doing what is inherently instilled within us. Help where you can. Encourage as much as you can, and love more and more. Goodness is who we are.”
Nomzamo Mbatha
Lira
Zenande Mfenyana
“For me Goodness means doing good for someone and not expecting anything back, giving from the bottom of your heart in all purity. Getting out of your comfort zone and giving back to those less fortunate than you”
