Two Miss South Africans in the making made Limpopo and South Africa proud by winning prestigious titles at the Little Miss Planet competition—a step closer to the little pair’s big global dreams.

Bulgaria (04 July, 2023) — Two little Limpopo princesses have had a big moment recently! After a lot of hard work and fundraising, Ndaloenhle Sibanyoni and Wandipha Figarette jetted off to Bulgaria for the 2023 Little Miss Planet competition.

Thanks to the community that helped make the trip possible, the Sekhukhune girls got to wave South Africa’s flag high in Eastern Europe before touching down on home soil with bigger smiles.

Ndaloenhle was crowned the Mini Miss Planet Model Grand Prix Winner (and won the Best National Costume Award) while Wandipha was awarded as a Little Miss Planet Group Winner.

Ndaloenhle already holds her spot as a young role model proudly at 8 years old with big plans for her future in ambassadorship among other dreams. She’s won multiple sashes from different title events and has shared that she even started her own NGO; the Ndlaoenhle Foundation.

In light of her win, she thanked her community for making her dream a reality with special shoutouts to her parents and grandparents who she affectionately dubs her cheerleaders.

Another winner from South Africa representing Klerksdorp is 15-year-old Carla van den Berg who won the Miss Teen Planet 2023’s Super Grand Prix title.

Meanwhile, in more proudly Limpopo news, model Lebo Malope recently walked a historic runway for none-other-than Louis Vuitton. Together with his brother Denetric who has also walked for numerous big names, the siblings are making South African fashion enthusiasts enormously proud.
