While running the numbers in her head, a young mom, Ziyanda Chaule, was trying to pick out the few educational toys she could afford, until a kind stranger stepped in to bless her in the best way!
Cape Town, South Africa (29 October 2025) – You know that internal battle fought in shopping aisles, trying to stretch every last rand for the items you need? Most of us have been there at some point, and with the way things are these days, it seems like making ends meet is more challenging than ever.
It’s a struggle Ziyanda Mncono Chaule recently shared about in a Facebook post, where she opened up about shopping for educational toys on a very limited budget at a charity shop in town.
But while looking around the store for items she could afford and her daughter would appreciate, somewhere in a quiet corner was a fellow shopper who noticed her.
When Ziyanda went to the till, the cashier told her the most unexpected thing. Someone had kindly offered to pay for the toys on her behalf!
“She asked I grab all the toys I’d like to get for Enika. An absolute stranger, such a beautiful, kind gesture,” shares the grateful mother.
Ziyanda went on to detail that her daughter almost fell off the chair when she rocked home with a huge plastic bag filled with new toys!

Ah man, what a treat!
Still moved by the woman’s generosity and gesture long after they’d parted ways, Ziyanda shared:
“Thank you, Stranger. Even got a beautiful pic collage frame and clothing items. May life always be kind to you. I am so appreciative.”
Ziyanda’s heartwarming testimony has gone viral and resonated with so many South Africans who have showered the kind stranger with beautiful blessings.
To this special woman, you’ve given this little family so much more than just new toys and clothing. You’ve shown them true compassion and the kind of unexpected thoughtfulness that brings a warm feeling from within. Wherever you are, may your cup never run dry.
