20 local artists are raising money for TEARS by transforming old and unwanted paintings found at the charity shop with their own unique style.

Noordhoek, South Africa (25 June 2024)Noordhoek Art Point Gallery has announced the return of the RePAWposed exhibition, a highly acclaimed art exhibition and fundraiser in support of animal welfare. Following its tremendous success last year, RePAWposed is back to captivate art enthusiasts and animal lovers alike, promising another unforgettable experience of creativity and compassion.

“RePAWposed is not your typical art exhibition,” says Aimee Kruger, owner of Noordhoek Art Point Gallery. “It’s a testament to the transformative power of creativity and the boundless generosity of the human spirit!”

Over 20 local artists will once again breathe new life into old and neglected paintings sourced from TEARS second-hand stores. With each brushstroke, they will infuse these forgotten canvases with renewed beauty and purpose, creating stunning masterpieces that speak volumes about resilience and hope.

Starting on July 1st, the Noordhoek Art Point Gallery will be adorned with these reimagined artworks, inviting visitors to witness the magic of artistic reinvention. The exhibition serves as a prelude to the main event: the auction, which is scheduled for July 6th. Save the date and join us at Noordhoek Art Point Gallery for an evening of artistic inspiration and philanthropic generosity.

“The highlight of RePAWposed is the auction, where attendees will have the opportunity to bid on their favourite pieces,” explains Kruger. “Proceeds from the auction will be donated to The Emma Animal Rescue Society (TEARS), a leading organization dedicated to rescuing and caring for animals in need. Last year, RePAWposed raised over R40,000.00 for TEARS, and this year, we aim to surpass that milestone with your support.”

RePAWposed is more than just an art exhibition; it’s a call to action. By participating in the auction, you’re not only acquiring a unique piece of art but also making a meaningful difference in the lives of animals. Together, you can support TEARS in its vital mission and ensure that every animal receives the love and care they deserve.

You are invited to join us at Noordhoek Art Point Gallery and experience the beauty and significance of RePAWposed. Mark your calendars for July 6th at 17:00 and be part of this extraordinary event where art meets compassion.
