Buntu Fanteso has been an intern with WWF South Africa and they just announced that he has become a Rhodes Scholar and is heading off to Oxford University.
South Africa (30 September 2021) – WWF South Africa shared some happy news about one of their inspiring young interns. Buntu Fanteso, from the Eastern Cape, has a passion for working to save the environment.
Buntu has a passion for working to secure water sources in South Africa. He went to school at Zwelibangile Senior Secondary School before completing his Master’s degree in Geography and Environmental Management. Once he was qualified, Buntu joined the WWF South Africa team as an intern.
Buntu went on to apply for the Rhodes Scholarship and was successful. He is getting ready to head to Oxford University to continue his geography and environmental studies.
The WWF team was so proud, they shared the happy news on their social media. Wishing him the best with his future.
