Viral post of UCT graduate

A South African UCT student is going viral after proudly posting pictures of his mom and himself at his graduation, dedicating the degree to her.

 

Lwandile Mapuza recently graduated from University of Cape Town (UCT) earning himself a Bachelor of Business Science Specializing in Finance with Accounting. He is now currently focused on completing his Bcom Honours in Taxation.

Nyanga, a Western Cape Township, is home to Lwandile and his family but he originates from Butterworth in the Eastern Cape.

He dedicated all his hard work to his mother in a post on social media which he captioned “I do this for my mamma”. The tweet has already been liked and shared over 13000 times collectively with many being inspired by him.

Users have been offering finance assistance to help him complete his Bcom Honours in Taxation, others shared their joy at reading about such a hard working young man.

Lwandile let his little brother try on his graduation gown too. He shared the picture on his twitter account and captioned it “one day it’s going to be you lil’ brother”
