At the heart of the excitement is the FEI CSIO1 Adult Nations Cup, taking place on Saturday, 29 November, where South Africa will face off against Ireland, the Netherlands, and Zimbabwe in a showcase of international talent and team spirit. Spectators can experience the full thrill of the event for free, with access open to the public throughout the week.

The South African team, led by Chef d’Equipe Lisa Williams, features top athletes Amy Michau, Chatan Hendriks, Chris van der Merwe, Dominey Alexander, and Tamara Rueda. Fans can expect a display of precision, teamwork, and athleticism as these riders represent the nation on home soil.

South African Showjumping, the governing body for the sport in the country, caters to riders of all levels. Its mission is to nurture talent, promote fair competition, and support the growth of equestrian sport across South Africa.

While the Nations Cup excitement unfolds at Steyn City, two other South African athletes, Divan Bosman and Olivia Garton, are making their mark on the global stage. They have departed to compete at the 2025 FEI Jumping World Challenge Final in Dakar, Senegal, from 25–30 November. This event serves as the test event for the 2026 Youth Olympic Games, bringing together riders from around the world to compete and connect across cultures.

The countdown is on, and with every jump and gallop at Steyn City, South African riders have the chance to make this Grand Prix a spectacle to remember.
