Can you imagine having to put together an entire presentation to convince your toddler to eat a chicken sandwich? Welcome to parenthood! Comedian Themba Robin hilariously captures this daily struggle in one of his latest videos, and it’s a cracker.

Johannesburg, South Africa (14 September 2025) – Oh, but kids will humble you! Sure, they’re an adorable joy, but once they hit that toddler stage, trust and believe they’ll test the depths of your patience.

Sharing his take on the joys (and hair-pulling moments) of being a dad to a toddler was Comedian Content Creator, Themba Robin, in one of his hilarious skits.

In the clip, he’s seen playing a scenario of pitching a chicken sandwich to his toddler in an office-style presentation, indicating that he and his team (his wife and himself) had been working around the clock to get it ready for him. He goes on to ask what his toddler thinks – setting the tone for his incoming headache.

The toddler version of Themba doesn’t hold back his criticisms, questioning the “green stuff” (the rocket), the chicken itself and even the bread crusts, leaving Themba the dad sweating under his collar.

Not stopping there, the toddler asked not to be treated like he was born two and a half years ago, even though he was, and even demanded that his bread be cut in a certain way, which Themba, the dad, obviously got wrong, inevitably killing the whole presentation.

The toddler concluded on settling for chicken nuggets, possibly followed by a banana, in the company of his stuffed toy, Mr Hoppy.

You know you’re a parent when the toughest pitch of your life is convincing your toddler to eat a balanced meal in one sitting while trying desperately to keep your cool.

With close to 60k views on Facebook and almost 26k on Instagram, Themba’s video proved a hit with those with kids and those without, praising his accurate portrayal of the drama that these little people can cause, along with his witty banter.
