A blazer display for the books marked the Maritzburg College’s annual reunion weekend!
KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa (19 June 2026) – The KZN’s oldest boys’ school, The Maritzburg College, just put on a fantastic show!
The iconic Blazer Display is an annual tradition that marks the start of the school’s reunion weekend, celebrating generations of Old Boys.
Over two days, the programme included golf, padel and bowls days, special assemblies, formal dinners, memorial services, sports matches, as well as the iconic display.
This year, learners smashed the tradition in a sea of red, black, and white blazers. Along with the grand visual display, the boys put on a fierce war cry led by the school’s jazz band.
The full nine-minute display was captured on drone footage, highlighting the impressive turnout and school pride.
“A College tradition that never loses its fire.” the school wrote, sharing the performance on its socials.
“With boys, staff and Old Collegians standing together, the morning was a reminder of the traditions, values and brotherhood that continue to connect generations of College men.” it shared in pride, following the annual reunion ceremony.
