Tanner Wareham’s Talent Continues to Inspire with Latest Performance

Off the back of a European tour, Tanner Wareham is sharing his love for South African music far and wide. His latest performance is goosebumps!

KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa (13 August 2026) – Tanner Wareham is popping up more and more as his star grows, and his love for celebrating South African music reaches more viewers.

Tanner was recently honoured by being asked to sing the New Zealand national anthem at the Sharks vs All Blacks game, a task he took great pride in accepting and doing justice to.

Having recently returned home from a European tour, Tanner has been busy. His latest video upload was of a performance he did for a launch party, and it stopped me from scrolling instantly.

Performing Circle of Life from the famous Lion King, armed with his guitar and voice, Tanner brings the room to a standstill, with cheers calling out as he hits the iconic note for the opening lyric, “Nants ingonyama bagithi Baba”. But, typical of Tanner’s style, he blends classic songs to make medleys, like the fresh twist he gave Shosholoza late last year. This one is no different.
