When Sue Low misplaced her card wallet, a worker at her residential property, Sandile, immediately turned it in fully intact, sparing her a massive headache and sparking widespread praise from people everywhere.

Scottburgh, South Africa (27 August 2026) – Losing an important personal item or valuable item is one of those things that happens to the best of us, yet still easily sends us into a frenzy of panic or frustration.

When Sue Low lost her card wallet, she barely had a moment to process the stress and inconvenience of it all – not because she was distracted, but because of the sheer honesty of Sandile, a worker on her residential property.

Sandile had found her wallet and handed it over to his employers, completely intact – an act of integrity that left Sue deeply grateful and moved.

What could have easily spiralled into a nightmare of cancelled cards, endless admin, and looming anxiety instead turned into a quiet reminder of the good in people. Thanks to Sandile’s quick thinking and noble character, Sue was spared a massive headache, transforming a moment of potential distress into a heartwarming experience of human kindness that she won’t soon forget!

In a post shared on Concerned Scottburgh Residents’ Facebook page, Sue publicly thanked Sandile.

“Your honesty and integrity truly touched me. In a world where honesty can sometimes be taken for granted, your actions speak volumes about the kind of person you are. Thank you, Sandile. May God richly bless you for your honesty and kindness, and may many blessings come your way,” Sue wrote.

Sue also expressed her gratitude to a Renishaw Hills staff member who acted quickly to contact her and return the wallet.

The beautiful story touched the hearts of many people on social media, with several joining in to praise Sandile for his honesty and being the kind of person our world needs more of.

Sandra Ann Baumgarten commented:

“Wow, what a lovely way to start this day. Your honesty will take you many places, and your life will be blessed in every way, Sandile.

Fred Vandyk also shared:

“Well done son. There are not very many honest people around. Your honesty will get you far in life. God bless you.”

Sandile’s act didn’t just save Sue a world of trouble. It has also given the greater public a reason to believe in the quiet goodness all around us.
