More joy is about to roll into Made for More’s surf therapy sessions thanks to an anonymous donor who has gifted the organisation a Sandcruiser.
South Coast, South Africa (04 October 2026) – An anonymous donor has helped make Made for More’s surf therapy sessions even more accessible by gifting the non-profit a spanking-new Sandcruiser!
The organisation works to include, equip and empower people with disabilities. Its surf therapy programme teaches water safety and adapts surfing and bodyboarding so that people with disabilities can take part.
The sessions are family-friendly and make space for participants to experience the freedom and fun of the ocean together.
Surf Therapy is one part of the organisation’s good work. It does coaching in paralympic and disability sports, mentorship and exercise therapy for children with disabilities. The non-profit also runs sports camps and helps businesses and other organisations become more accessible and inclusive. Its farming initiative offers permaculture training to community members whose families include people with disabilities.
People with disabilities should have opportunities to take part and pursue the things they enjoy, which is what Made for Love works so hard to do.
Next weekend, this particular act of kindness will have its first outing as the Sandcruiser heads down to the water for Made for More’s next surf therapy sesh!
