Abrams Stermer Williams went above and beyond to return Felix Gosher’s wallet after finding it at ‘Joburg Day’, he was rewarded in the coolest way!
Johannesburg, South Africa (15 September 2017) – Felix Gosher was at Joburg Day when he was pickpocketed. Thankfully the person only took his cash and then discarded the wallet. Abrams Stermer Williams was also at the event. He stumbled across the wallet and decided to find the person it belonged to so he could return it.
Abrams checked the wallet and found a contact number for someone in Bangui, Central African Republic. He called the number without concern of what the call would cost. He then called the SACAA, another contact found in the wallet. Both contacts got hold of Felix and put him in contact with Abrams.
The pair met up and the wallet was returned. Felix shared the meeting on his Facebook and said the following,
“This country has some amazing people…. Abrams Stermer Williams thank you for going to the amazing lengths you went to… to get my wallet back to me after I lost it at Joburg day….”
I also wanna thank the guys who took the cash out – for throwing it on the ground so that this angel from heaven could find it…. with all my important cards….. he even dialed plus three six to phone a contact of mine in Bangui, Central African Republic ….and even Phindiwe Gwebu at SACAA to find me…. there are no words🇿🇦❤️🙏🏻✈️ PROUDLY SOUTH AFRICAN….. To say thank you Felix took Abrams up in his plane, giving him a moment he would never forget! Abrams had the best evening.
