Every family has its own unique and quirky Christmas traditions so this advert hit us right in our hearts watching this dad pass his dancing down to his son
Global (07 December 2018) – We love the festive season because it is a time when family comes together and take part in some fun family traditions. The best part about traditions is you see them handed down from generation to generation and live on long past us.
For example, in our family, Granny always made a very boozy Christmas trifle. Half the bottle would go into the poor cake base and the other half would be shared among everyone (but mostly just granny). Now that she has passed on, it is our job to make the boozy trifle and sip on the sherry in her memory.
A French advert was released showing a dad put on his favourite song and do a little Christmas boogie in front of his toddler. The advert goes on to show him doing the dance every Christmas, even when his son cringes with embarrassment. The part that really got us all tearful was when his son does the dance for his own son and grandpa dances along with them.
