We are not sure why anyone would want to eat a Zebra Tarantula, but Brandon Farris certainly makes the process look hilarious!
California, United States of America – Brandon Farris is an American comedian who eats “weird” things while making the internet laugh in the process.
His most recent video, which has gone viral with over 10 million views, shows him eating a Zebra Tarantula which one of his fans sent him to eat. Followers of Brandon often send him different food to try out on camera.
We are not sure why a person would want to eat a spider, but there is a global company that specialises in the insect delicacy (we’re not even joking).
They call themselves “Eat Crawlers” and offer many creepy crawlers to gift for meals.
“Healthy living and clean eating are fast becoming definitive trends in peoples day to day lifestyle. Paleo eating, raw food diets and vegan-ism, are all common topics in daily banter, but how many people have told you that they maintain their protein and B1 levels by eating insects?
Edible insects have higher protein levels than beef, more iron than kale, and comparable levels of B1 and B2 found in Spirulina. Insects are organic and natural with no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives making it obvious that edible insects are the food of the future!”
The comedian decided that he would eat the gifted “Zebra Tarantula” to show that he’s not scared, and he doesn’t disappoint (with the laughs as well).
“I’m eating a Tarantula, aren’t I? I’m terrified… I know for a fact that if I pour you onto my hand I will throw you onto the backseat, almost immediately.”
Brandon says that this is by far the scariest thing he has ever done.
