Owning a pet is a full-time job so it only makes sense that shelters post adoptions up as if they are job applications; TOP did this and it is so funny!
Cape Town, South Africa (30 January 2020) – Animal shelters are always looking for good homes for their beloved rescues. Every manner of marketing idea has been tried so whenever a new one is seen, it is always interesting to see.
Recently TOP – The Outreach Program shared an adoption post that we found to be so clever! The adoption post was set up as a job application and applicants were encouraged to apply just as one would for a job.
TOP – The Outreach Program are currently trying to find a forever home for Buttercup. She arrived as an adorable puppy but wasn’t adopted right away. Now the smiling pup is 6-months-old and really ready for a fun, active family.
“Permanent position available, start immediately. Remuneration will be made in the form of licks, staring intently at treats, walks in the park i.e. exercise and lifelong loyalty.
Our client, a cute 6-month-old puppy named Buttercup, seeks to employ a human, or humans on a permanent base.
Job description: Scratcher, walker, feeder, poop-picker, assisting in exchanging love and cuddles and kisses.
Requirements: a safe place to stay, bed inside for Buttercup, preferably another feline friend, a human that will be there most of the time.”
