Pretoria, South Africa (13 August 2026) – If there’s one thing South African school sport knows how to do, it’s school spirit and the boys from Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool, better known as Affies, certainly brought theirs.

In a video doing the rounds, the Affies boys can be seen standing shoulder to shoulder, arms wrapped around each other as they belt out a song together.

It’s the kind of moment that captures what school sport is all about: belonging, friendship, pride and backing your teammates, long before anyone steps onto the field.

With a big clash against Pretoria Boys High on the horizon, the Affies boys appear to be making sure their voices are warmed up and their school spirit is firmly switched on.
