The No Limits Trampoline Club athlete has been selected to represent South Africa at the World Age Group Games, but the trip is expected to cost around R65,000.

Johannesburg, South Africa (25 August 2026) – For three young trampoline athletes from No Limits Trampoline Club, the latest World Age Group Trials in Gqeberha were about more than simply chasing selection.

Nala, Amara and Zama all stepped onto the competition floor at the second World Age Group Trials last weekend, showing clear progress from their first trial and giving their club plenty to celebrate.

While some of the results were painfully close, the biggest takeaway for No Limits was the growth shown by all three athletes. They returned stronger, more confident and ready to challenge themselves, proving that progress is not always measured by a medal or a place on the final team.

For Nala, however, the weekend brought another exciting milestone.

The young athlete has once again been selected to represent South Africa at the 2026 World Age Group Games in China in November.

It will be another opportunity for Nala to compete on the international stage after representing the country at the 2025 World Age Group Games in Spain. Earlier this year, she also returned home from the African Championships with a bronze medal.

Now, she has another chance to pull on the green and gold.

Unlike many international sporting opportunities, the trip is largely self-funded by athletes and their families. Flights, accommodation, entry fees, uniforms, tracksuits and official clothing are expected to push Nala’s costs to around R65,000.

That is where the No Limits community is hoping to rally behind her.

The club will soon launch a crowdfunding campaign, complete with a fundraising thermometer so supporters can follow Nala’s progress towards China.

Whether it is R10, R100 or more, every donation can help ease the financial load. Even sharing the campaign could help connect Nala with someone who is able to support her journey.

Anyone interested in supporting Nala’s journey, sponsoring her or helping spread the word is encouraged to reach out to No Limits Trampoline Club ahead of the campaign launch.
