Marmite South Africa

Marmite South Africa have gone viral with a very clever advert crafted for Friday the 13th.

First marketed in the United Kingdom in 1902, Marmite is one of the world’s most popular savoury spreads. The distinctive savoury taste of Marmite (there’s nothing else like it!) makes it a popular spread for everyone, from toddlers to grandparents.

The product name may have been derived from a famous French soup, petite marmite but the delicious savory spread we know today has become authentically South African.

The social media advert crafted for Friday the 13th plays on the new IT movie.

IT: Chapter One (promoted as IT) is a 2017 take on the 1986 novel of the same name by Stephen King. The movie features a scary clown who plagues a town with red balloons.

Check out the advert below… and happy Friday the 13th.
