Calvin Kipling

Calvin Kipling is a leading Anti-Poaching instructor for Protrack and has trained groups like the Black Mamba’s. He recently did the cutest interview!

Calvin Kipling was recently in America when he was interviewed by ‘On The Savannah’, a fairly new but super cute YouTuber. Calvin is an anti-poaching unit instructor that is working for the Global Conservation Force, an organisation dedicated to working against extinction of wildlife.

The Global Conservation Force aims to save wildlife from extinction through education, anti-poaching and conversation efforts.

There is currently a race to save the worlds’ threatened wildlife. Anti-Poaching Rangers stand between the poachers and the wildlife they desire. Due to the intensity of the recent outbreak of rhino and elephant poaching; anti poaching rangers, in some regions of the world, have become more like military teams.

Calvin was born and raised in Cape Town, he studied and went into fitness and personal training from there he ventured into wildlife film making. That’s when Calvin could no longer sit on the side lines, he was moved by the Rhino plight so he packed up his life and moved to the Kruger National Park.

After completing his extensive 6 week Advanced anti-poaching basics training at Protrack, he went straight to the front line and worked in the field, completing several 16 day clandestine foot patrols all over the greater Kruger region. After several months of patrols Calvin got drafted to join the training division.

Since then Calvin has made a name for himself in the anti-poaching field and is now the Vice President of Global Conservation Force, Africa Conservation. Most recently the company went to assist after the tragic attacks at Thula Thula Rhino Orphanage.

The first two GCF crew members to provide ranger backup for the Thula Thula Rhino Orphanage are in route. Two more GCF crew members will move into place next week for additional coverage. Our team will be present for a month. Of the four going to Thula Thula three are instructors that’ll provide sponsored advanced training in various military and anti-poaching skill sets.

Calvin Kipling is doing amazing things for South Africa, and most of us didn’t even know. Thanks to this cute interview Calvin will be a household name. Hopefully Calvin will know South Africa is supporting every step he takes. Watch the cute interview below.
