Vicky says she’s a couch potato, but she’s in training for something much greater!
Johannesburg, South Africa (22 January 2026) – In March, Vicky will be heading to Morocco with Kusudi La, an NPO and adventure club that organises expeditions that make a difference in the lives of animals. Every challenge comes with more meaning when it’s for a good purpose.
Vicky’s purpose is to help the animal heroes at Sandton SPCA where she volunteers.
Mount Toubkal is the highest mountain in Morocco and in Northern Africa overall. She’s going to climb it. And with every step forward, she’ll be raising funds toward a new vehicle for the Sandton SPCA.
“I’m raising funds for the Sandton SPCA so that they can carry on the good work that they do in the community. From helping to animals in distress to rehoming animals and community outreach, they do a lot of work to help animals in need,” shares Vicky in her online fundraising campaign.
Vicky chose the Sandton SPCA as her beneficiary because they have brought joy into her life, literally! She has adopted all of her furry friends from them, and she knows that any form of support is always needed and appreciated in animal welfare.
From couch to climb – we’re backing you all the way, Vicky!
