A porcupine was filmed ushering her babies along the S30 in Kruger National Park, and people can’t get enough of the adorably rare sighting.

Kruger National Park, South Africa (23 August 2021) – One can never get enough of baby animals, especially the rarer ones like a Porcupine. You may be thrilled to know that a baby porcupine is called a Porcupette, which is one of the cutest names we have ever heard!

A brilliant and rare sighting recently took place in Kruger National Park, and it was filmed by Hennie Lombart. He shared the video with Latest Sightings – Kruger. The video has since started going viral as people cannot get enough of how cute it was to see a mother Porcupine guiding her two porcupettes along the road.

The sighting took place on the S30 near Lower Sabie in Kruger National Park. This is quite a rare sighting, even for the most well-seasoned Kruger visitor.

Seeing a porcupette with its tiny quills, almost an exact replica of mom but in mini form, is a sure way to bring a smile to one’s face.

Take a look at the sighting below. For those who may find themselves in the same exciting situation, always remember to give a mother animal some space, so she doesn’t get too stressed.

Spring is nearly here, which means lots of baby animals are on the way. Stay tuned as we share even more amazing sightings!
