We really do live in the most beautiful place on Earth… Tim Peake, an astronaut living and working on the International Space Station, snapped this epic picture.
Global (04 April 2016) – Tim is a European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut of British nationality. He is living and working on the International Space Station for Expedition 46/47. Tim has a background as a test pilot and a British Army Air Corps officer.
He apparently took the photo yesterday but uploaded it to Facebook a couple of hours ago.
“Lovely pass-by South Africa yesterday – still in awe of Eddie Izzard running 27 marathons across that stretch of land!”
He moved into the space station in December 2015 after years of training and was the first British ESA astronaut to ever visit the Space Station.
His journey is incredibly interesting, and he posts updates often. Here are some of our favourites…
