Fashion Student Angela Luna created a kickstarter to promote her new line of jackets that convert into tents, designed to aid the homeless and refugee’s

Angela Luna is a fashion student at The New School Parsons School of Design, an award winner of the Womenswear Designer the Year award and a forward thinking, innovative humanitarian fashion designer.

Angela Luna designed a line of jackets and backpacks that convert into tents. The trendy looking jackets are a one size fits all cut, weather proof, water proof and durable. The jackets are designed to be worn in multiple environments.

Recently Angela started a Kickstarter to raise funds for the refugee fashion line she has called ADIFF.

“ADIFF is a new humanitarian fashion start-up that provides customers with innovative and exclusive products, addresses global issues through design, and performs large scale donations.”

“Products are solution-based, meaning every item is designed to address a need, to avoid useless saturation of the industry.”

“We promise to create our products with ethical and sustainable practices. We want our customers to be sure that they are purchasing products from a brand that is only doing good for the world.”

The Kickstarter promised that for every backing of $88.00 a jacket would be donated to a refugee. The jackets were tested at Refugee Camps across Greece. 100% of the refugee’s felt positive about the jacket. These products aimed to provide shelter, safety, comfort, security, and other things to people on the go

The Kickstarter goal was to raise $60,000.00 and the total amount pledged to date is $86,502.00. This means that the project can proceed fully and refugee’s will start to receive their donated jackets in September 2017.
