We are crying with laughter all over again. Earlier this year a Tweet went viral asking South Africans to name this rap group – and they are now releasing their first song.

South Africa – In April this year, a Tweet went viral for all the right reasons. It was fall-on-the-floor hilarious! Donovan Goliath created comedy gold by asking South Africans to name the rap group.

People came up with some of the best band names we have ever heard. Think along the lines of Klippie and the Drifters, The Johannes Brothers, The Backstreet Boers and Vattie Khaki, to name a few.

People even started listing the songs they would sing like “wif or wifout you” and, one commenter said if you played their CD backwards you, got top-notch potjie recipes.

After the dust settled, we sort of forgot how good this viral conversation was. That was until one of our readers sent a reminder in the way of an awesome update.

Well, the music group (which is definitely not rap) has been named officially as Jan, Jan, Jan and on the 25th of October, they are releasing their first song called “Wys Jou Vleis”.

Take a look at the preview below. We are so excited to see how this goes as they really created a stir back in April. To kick the rap group off, what are some of the songs you think they will sing next?

And it’s LIVE!!! Wys Jou Vleis!
