The first full look at Tali’s Joburg Dairy has been released for season three and the trailer is filled with hilarious Tali Babes’ antics.

Johannesburg, South Africa (18 October 2022) – Move over Cape Town, Tali Babes is heading home to Jozi, and we actually just can’t even! Tali is back for season three, and she is ready to reconnect with her hometown and dust Cape Town off her shoulders. The official trailer for the new season just dropped and we are so excited (said in classic Tali voice).

Having shared her wedding in Tali’s Wedding Diary and then her pregnancy in Tali’s Baby Diary, Tali is moving back to Joburg in Season 3, determined to get Jayden into the premium preschool, Little Angels Hyde Park, and reclaim her crown, or at the very least the title of Class Mom.

In season 3, Tali has a dose of reality after the pandemic knocks her hubby Darren into a new normal. She heads back home to move in with mom and dad after Darren’s business all but dissolves, and those shiny credit cards started bouncing.

The trailer gives fans their first glimpse of the three key new faces this season: newcomer Troy Davy as Tali’s son, Jayden; Ndoni Khanyile (When We Were Black; host of Innovate Africa and earthrise on Al Jazeera) as Little Angels Hyde Park principal Barbara Bhembe; and Naledi Award nominee Sharon Spiegel Wagner (Bedford Wives) as Monique the Beak, the reigning Class Mom.

“When you’ve had a long day, Tali is always wonderful,” says Ndoni. “You can’t help but laugh; you can’t help but smile. It’s just so light and fun, with great performances. This season Tali has left Cape Town behind and she’s now in the big city, in the City of Gold. You know things always step up when you get to Joburg. So people should definitely watch this season because it’s all the characters that you love, back for even more craziness. It’s the Tali that you love – just more.”

Take a look at the trailer below. The show is set to air on Showmax, on the 18th of November 2022, with episodes every Friday.
