Cape Town Tourism achieved global acclaim with multiple wins at the World Luxury Travel Awards, showcasing the city’s excellence in luxury and adventure experiences.

 

Western Cape, South Africa (14 November 2023) – In a celebration of excellence, Cape Town Tourism members have once again proven their mettle on the global stage, garnering prestigious accolades at the World Luxury Travel Awards.

This triumph not only reaffirms Cape Town’s standing as a premier travel destination but also highlights the exceptional offerings of its tourism sector.

Among the notable winners is NAC Helicopters, rising to new heights with the Helicopter Charter Company award, thanks to their stunning aerial experiences that undeniably earned them well-deserved recognition. Likewise, Jeep Tours Cape Town, a preferred choice for thrill-seekers, secured the Adventure Tour Company accolade for the entire African continent, showcasing their dedication to providing unparalleled adventure experiences.

The Two Oceans Aquarium, renowned for its aquatic wonders, also received well-deserved acclaim, claiming the top spot in its category. Meanwhile, Juma Art Tours, specializing in unique Art & Culture Experiences, added to Cape Town’s victories, showcasing the city’s diverse cultural offerings. The Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, a jewel in Cape Town’s crown, blossomed as the leading botanical garden, further enhancing the city’s allure.

Jeep Tours Cape Town, a standout in the winner’s circle, is not a newcomer to accolades. This female-led adventure tourism company continues to shine, building on its 2021 success supported by the Cape Town Tourism Board Development Fund (BDF). Their triumph reflects not only their dedication but also the potential for growth within Cape Town’s tourism sector.

Enver Duminy, CEO of Cape Town Tourism, expressed his delight at the victories, emphasizing the city’s commitment to providing top-notch experiences. “Our heartfelt congratulations to all the Cape Town Tourism members for their prestigious wins at the World Luxury Travel Awards. Each winner represents the pinnacle of luxury and adventure that our city offers,” he remarked.

Jeep Tours Cape Town’s journey from BDF recipient to continental leader in the luxury travel space is particularly inspiring. Lizanne Gomes, the director at Jeep Tours Cape Town, expressed gratitude for the international recognition.
