Puppy parades, blindfolded challenges, treats and prizes are all on the cards for Joburgers joining a day of family fun for the SA Guide Dogs Association for the Blind! Here are the details:

Johannesburg, South Africa (28 February 2025) — Joburgers are in for a day of family fun, treats and smiles on 9 March thanks to the SA Guide Dogs Association!

Those joining the event can look forward to an array of wholesome activities. There’s the best-dressed puppy parade starring the little pups in training (and their best outfits), demonstrations from the Guide Dogs’ Assistance Dogs showing off their fantastic skills and the chance to tackle the blindfolded challenge walk where you’ll be guided by one of the four-legged pros.

For the extra-adventurous attendee, there’s also the Blind Navigator Challenge in which drivers will put their skills to the test, blindfolded.

Beyond all the action, guests can enjoy the charm of the Tea Garden, treats and eats, shopping sprees at the market and a break at the Beer Garden.

As it is a day of family fun, little ones will also get to enjoy themselves at the Kids Zone. Face painting, a bubble house, a magician and a puppet show by Leo’s Edutainment are sure to make the day a kid’s favourite.

Not to mention, prizes are also up for grabs (fancy a chance to win a Jimny?)  for those taking part in the raffle.
