The Kindness Like Confetti (KLC) team has been working overtime to provide joy and warmth to 1,000 new mothers and their little ones in Johannesburg by distributing essential baby bags at several public hospitals.
Johannesburg, South Africa (16 January 2025) – Bringing comfort and happiness to innocent babies will always warm our hearts! Doing just that were the angels with invisible wings of Kindness Like Confetti (KLC) in Johannesburg.
The team recently celebrated the distribution of 1,000 baby bags to new mothers for their infants at several public hospitals in December, including Baragwanath, Charlotte Maxeke, Bertha, Far East Rand, and Thelle Mogoerane Hospital.
The handout at Thelle Mogoerane Hospital coincided with a late World Prematurity Day celebration, which is traditionally observed in November.
“Though slightly delayed, the spirit and love behind the celebration were just as strong,” KLC shares.
“The morning was filled with informative talks from hospital specialists, beautiful songs from the hospital choir, and heartfelt moments shared with the incredible moms of the prem babies.”
Sister Ntombela and the rest of the Thelle Mogoerane Hospital staff are appreciated for their commendable efforts in hosting the wonderful event which celebrated and supported many little fighters.
Filled with baby toiletries, mommy spoils, baby blankets and clothing, the baby bags were handed out by volunteers Ashanti, Beryl, and Simontha bringing a lot of smiles and relief to many new and first-time moms in need.
