The Kindness Like Confetti team will be supporting two soup kitchens through the winter and is rallying support to collect much-needed food items.

Johannesburg, South Africa (30 May 2024) – ‘Kindness like Confetti’ (KLC) is based in Linden Gauteng, and spreads kindness far and wide! This winter, the team is preparing to support two soup kitchens, making sure they have everything needed to keep the warm meals flowing.

KLC is a registered non-profit organisation with six main projects – collecting and distributing sanitary products, a feeding scheme, a knitting project called The Joseph Jersey Project, a dignity bag project to support victims of rape, trauma and abuse, Project Uplift, collecting new and gently used bras for women and an animal welfare support project. There are four additional KLC branches including Cape Town, Gqeberha, Knysna and Pretoria.

“KLC would like your help to continue to support the two soup kitchen and feeding schemes in our area with donations of packets of the following:”

  • frozen chicken,
  • frozen homemade soup,
  • soya mince,
  • fresh and tinned vegetables
  • and other non-perishable food items, e.g. rice, stock cubes, tinned tomatoes, maize meal, packet/tinned soup, etc.

“We also welcome volunteers to cook a soup or meal which we can deliver and serve on your behalf. 🙏
