Ladysmith Black Mambazo have done it again! They have made South Africa proud by winning their fifth Grammy award. South Africa is so proud the group are currently trending across social media.

 

Ladysmith Black Mambazo have made South Africa proud with their fifth win. The group won the award for the ‘Best World Music Album’. This is also the 18th nomination for the group. They were also nominated in the ‘Best Children’s Album’ category for ‘Songs Of Peace & Love For Kids & Parents Around The World’.

The Album that won was ‘Shaka Zulu Revisited: 30th Anniversary Celebration’. Previously they won in 2013, 2008, 2004 and 1987. Fans have been incredibly proud.

The group sang their thanks at around 3:55 am and thanked South Africa for all the support.

The good news doesn’t end there. The Hugh Masekela was remembered in the “Grammy in Memorium”. South Africa really felt the love at the 60th Grammy Awards.
