Thailand (14 October 2025)- Miss Grand South Africa, Boitsepho Lamola, turned heads with a stunning costume inspired by the South African national bird, the Blue Crane, at the Miss Grand International Competition. The grand finale is set for 18 October 2025, giving her the chance to showcase South Africa’s creativity and culture on a global stage.
The outfit featured soft blue-grey feathers, beautifully capturing the bird’s elegance and calm presence, making it a standout moment. The Blue Crane is known for its grace, strength, and peaceful nature. The costume symbolised the importance of strength with softness and power with peace. These are qualities that were reflected in the flowing design of the costume.
As Boitshepo was moving, she mimicked the bird in flight, showing how something simple can carry a powerful message about balance, courage, and hope.
