Rihanna launched Fenty Beauty in 2017 and it was globally praised for its inclusivity but now as she launches a new line, RiRi has selected a stunning South African to be the face of it all.
Carmen Lee Solomons is a South African model living in America. Her dream finally came true when she was selected to be the face of Rihanna’s new Fenty Beauty lines, ‘Fairy Glow’ and ‘Body Lava’.
The South African beauty from Kraaifontein in Cape Town has been making heads turn with her unique beauty. She has featured in music videos with Usher and Drake, worked with Mac Cosmetics as well as appearing on a billboard in New York and now this fantastic opportunity.
Rihanna launched her Fenty Beauty line in 2017 and made sure that it was inclusive of all skin shades. The megastar was praised for creating a whopping 40 different shades of foundation in a formula that has possibly made history in the cosmetics industry. Since launching the core range, RiRi has created other smaller lines under the parent one. Her latest have been the two above mentioned ones which focus on glowing skin.
The new ranges were officially launched on the 6th of April and that is when Carmen shared her exciting news with the world. Followers have been incredibly supportive and even Rihanna’s fans have praised Carmen. Many have compared her looks to Crissy Teigen, saying she is even more beautiful than the famous model and wife of John Legend.
