The Edenvale SPCA are celebrating their local German Club which hosted its annual fundraiser and raised over R130,000 for the animal charity.
Edenvale, South Africa (24 June 2024) — The Edenvale SPCA has received so much goodness thanks to the local German Club’s annual fundraiser. Not only have the animals been given hundreds of kilos of food, but the SPCA also received a huge cheque for R136,000, which is set to go a very long way in helping animals in need.
Every year, the club beats their fundraising goal and makes a massive donation to the SPCA. The SPCA took to its social media page to share a huge thank you to every person who contributes each year saying that the donation is the largest they have ever received.

Funds raised go towards the payment of service providers and staff, all animal welfare projects, whether at the SPCA or out in the community and help cover any emergency costs that may arise. Thanks to the record-breaking amount, this donation will go much further.
It just goes to show how any donation, no matter what size, does a great deal of good. So many people contributed to this donation, and in the end, every cent has counted.
