Voyager Miles have been saved up and used on those dream trips but sometimes there may be a few left over so before they expire, donate them to charity.
SAA Voyager teamed up with three charities in South Africa to help their members give back to worthy causes. The group has said it “cares about the well-being of others and our environment”.
There are currently three charities that you can support using your Voyager Miles.
- Reach For A Dream Foundation.
- World Wide Fund (WWF).
- Wings and Wishes.
The Reach For A Dream Foundation shared a helpful post on how to donate your Voyager Miles before they expire on the 31st of March.
“On behalf of our dream children and their families, we would like to thank you for donating your SAA Voyager Miles to Reach For A Dream Foundation. Every mile donated is as precious as each of our children’s dreams. Please note that you can now only donate miles online. Below is the guide from SAA Voyager regarding the online donation”
- Please go to the Voyager website and at the top right there will be a mandatory login tab
- After members have logged in with their login credentials, they will be in a position to view their voyager miles balance
- Members will be able to choose options on the top bar for different activities, however, the donating miles option will be under Voyager shopping (option) tab
- A screen will appear, showing which organisations miles can be donated to, with the section on the far right to facilitate the activity.
- After the activity, members will receive a notification as an acknowledgement for donating miles.
So go double check that you don’t have any points about to expire. And if you do, donate them to a worthy cause.
