MOT is a non-profit organisation that teaches life-skills development to the youth, encouraging them to have the courage to live, care and say no!
South Africa (24 March 2017) – MOT South Africa is an organisation that works with the youth, teaching them to make conscious life choices that will help them develop to their full potential and to give them courage, and courage to say no to things like drugs and violence.
The MOT training programmes give young people the strength to manage peer pressure, to believe in themselves and to take responsibility for their own lives and future.
MOT focuses strongly on the development of self-confidence, sound values, positive attitude and behaviour, self-leadership and to respect and care for others.
Last year the organisation reached over 13 186 youth, and they plan to reach 15 000 youth in 2017. The programme achieves immediate, tangible, and visible results in the lives of the youth. It affects long-term changes in the classroom and in their communities.
The programme aims to develop and strengthen vulnerable youth to stand against bullying, violence and substance abuse. The sessions are fun and interactive, teachers use role plays, thought-provoking questions, debates, practical exercises and activities to reach the young people in a youthful, innovative and sincere manner.
The organisation is supported by many influential South Africans and celebrities who are brand ambassadors including JP Duminy, Siya Kolisi, Robin Banks, Mishka Patel, Carl Wastie, Janice, MJ Li, Sasha-Lee Davids, Natalie Becker, Danny K, Ayanda Dlamini and Hilton Langenhoven. They all believe in the development of the youth.
