The Canadian band may be home in Canada, but their latest DIY project proves that some things simply travel with you.
Canada (07 October 2026) – You can take the band out of South Africa, but apparently you can’t take South Africa out of the band.
Neon Dreams is finally home in Canada after touring South Africa, but judging by their latest DIY project, a little piece of SA has travelled with them.
They have been busy building themselves a proper braai spot because apparently, even thousands of kilometres from South Africa, you still need somewhere to stand around a fire and sort out the meat.
We wouldn’t expect anything less.
The Canadian weather might be a little different from a South African summer, but the priorities remain exactly the same: build a braai station, get the fire going and create a little bit of lekker vibes wherever you are.
The whole thing is peak South African behaviour.
It’s one of those wonderfully South African moments that needs very little explanation.
You can travel. But somewhere along the way, you’re probably still going to start wondering where the nearest braai is.
