South Africa (24 November 2022) – Koa Academy has partnered with Good Things Guy to provide one lucky South African learner with free education for a year!

Yes! An entire year’s education for free! It’s a really exciting opportunity to not only be part of one of South Africa’s best online schools but also be part of an incredible community of students.

The partnership got me thinking about how schools have changed in the last couple of years. Gone are the days of just bricks and mortar or rules that must be strictly adhered to. When I was at school, we had to wear a uniform, our hair had to be cut a certain way and we had to physically sit in classrooms at specific times, sometimes with over 30 students.

Now entire curriculums can be found online, allowing you to work at your own pace but still be in a classroom… with just eight other students.

And that’s what really got me excited about this partnership!

Koa Academy is on the cutting edge of online schooling in South Africa, combining the best of modern education with small classes and experienced teachers.

The school offers an IEB education for learners in Grades 4 to 12 through an online learning platform that is individualised and structured. The classes are small to ensure learners receive one-on-one attention from professional educators. The learning environment aims to be engaging and allow learners to work at their own pace. The academic program is designed with the best-curated resources from all over the world and age-appropriate assessments. Koa prides itself on providing instant learner feedback through a learning dashboard to display how the child is progressing.
