Trevor Noah, Charlize Theron and Chelsea Handler are visiting schools across South Africa to promote different values to better the lives of the youth.
Trevor Noah, the host of The Daily Show and an awesome South African comedian has been in South Africa for his comedy tour. While here he has been popping up on radio shows and meeting locals. On his Facebook page he shared a post while at a school in Cape Town and with him was none other than South African darling Charlize Theron.
It was so exciting to see Trevor and Charlize together again. Especially after they just appeared on Trevor’s show together the other day.
The South African stars along with Chelsea Handler visited the Oaklands High School in Cape Town as part of a visit to Salesian Life Choices, a grantee of Charlize’s foundation.
“Thank you Oaklands High and Life Choices for giving us an opportunity to be part of something so amazing. To see how much better a person’s life can be if we just invest in people at a young age is inspiring and eye opening.” – Trevor Noah
“Joining @charlizeafrica @chelseahandler and the coolest teacher Nkosana in the most fun classroom, learning things I wish I had learned about in school. At the end of the lesson they end with an African Haka!” – Trevor Noah
Today they are in East London and were given a performance which you can hear Trevor singing along to.
“We start the day in East London with an amazing group of young women who are working to break the cycle of poverty, abuse and HIV infection. Black women are the most vulnerable and often the most underserved in the world but Black women are also the most resilient. Today with @charlizeafrica and @chelseahandler we’re learning about the challenges these women face and the progress they’ve made in determining their own future with the help of the CTAOP.”
